12’ Bure Family Duration. This pic is from Wine-Searcher. Threw out the bottle last night. Held onto this last bottle for an additional 18 months. Very much enjoying the 2012’s right now. Honestly, tasting better than ever.
This Cabernet combines power & finesse, with gorgeous supple flavors of blackcurrant, black cherry, blackberry, loads of sweet oak(not in a bad way) Full -bodied with low acidity. Without a doubt the best BURE I’ve enjoyed to date.

Ok back in town and inspired by usual gang which have drinking incredible wines I proclaim tonight "International Night" and as such please drink USA cab, followed by your fav Italian and then some French and finally pot luck - as such my first - I have the privilege of the first 2010 rating - other vintage ratings got this right - great smell color taste and finish - yeah - wife beat to my smile but smiling as well
