Great intense depth

Red from Oltrepo, blend of 3 grapes.
Very balsamic, sweet red fruits, slightly powdery, but overall very pleasant with notes of tamarind and caramel.

2 hr decant, then drank over 2 hours. Complex aromas of dense dark red fruits and menthol and tobacco that mingled evolved over 2-3 hours then started to evolve into overripe plum, candied black licorice and cedar. Palette is bold. In the early hours it was intensely Oakes but over time it opens up into more stewed overripe old sweet fruits umm like tasty fermented fruit? Some cacao and leather. Menthol on the finish. Still modestly tannic in a gravely way but it’s in balance, but does work better with food.

Quite nice. A robusto. High al (14.5%), big tannins, rich stone and berry fruit. A hint of cassis. Needs some air. Better in day two. Try again.

Big robust tannic high al wine. Very nice and has balance. Super long finish. Cherry, raisin, and cola? Nose had lots of al in it. But tastes much better than smells. Would buy again.

bright currants, juicy cherries on a bed of cedar and leather. great with pizza.....

Best medium-bodied red blend I've had in last two years hands down. Opened up beautifully after decanting. Lovely lovely stuff.

The surprise of the night. Complex, big, but elegant. Salute!
