Bright Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy character. Nice!

Decant and even better the second day. Smooth drinking, on the light side so good food or sipping wine. TBL

Definitely young for this producer, but WOW. Absolutely beautiful. I dont think I've had a wine taste so much like rose water and hibiscus. Plenty fresh raspberry and red apple skin tones on the palate.. feels a little Burgundian, but definitely Piedmont Nebbiolo. This is a complex wine from arguably the best wine producer in the region that keeps developing as it sits in the decanter. Buy a case and lay down for a few years. Worth every penny.

Wednesday Wine Committee. As always, wines are tasted blind. 1 sparkler, 2 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert.

The only wine out of a grand total of 8 that I missed the varietal. After having 3 pinots, I tried to make this be an older burgundy. Very light, not super tannic. Fairly surprised it was Nebbiolo, and especially a young one. Small bit of leather, lots of raspberries and herbal spices. Very thin on the palate.

Flush with licorice and smashed raspberries. Really beautiful mouthfeel that is light and framed by florals. Super happy w the balance of this wine.

The nose on this is gorgeous, but the palate is quite closed and discombobulated. Needs about a year or so to unwind.
