Showing well but could use another 5-10 years in the bottle. Structured and pretty.

Outstanding wine. Elegant, refined and delicious. Savory, sappy red fruits. Very long finish.

A very beautiful showing of a 2000 Giacosa wine, a vintage, that according to him - and for his wines - was fabulous. I feel this wine right in the middle of its drinking window, where the primary and first mature aromas meet. Dark red fruit, juicy cherries, fruitcake, sweet exotic spices & lingering noble tannins. I recommend to drink the 2000 "Falletto" before the 1996 or 1999, and of course 2001. A beautiful wine today.

Opened in memory of Bruno Giacosa. This is a gorgeous accessible Barolo from the master. Sappy red fruits, lip smacking acidity and mostly resolved tannins. Rest In Peace, Bruno.

Dinner in Lake Como at great family restaurant, perfect setting. Structured, complex, elegant, rose, ash, balsamic, young, long life ahead.
