The least expensive wine we carry from a great winemaker. Black raspberry and cherry upfront with tannins and acidity. 3 hours later lively aromas of red fruits on the nose and palate. Needs time.

Showing well. Love the dark profile the wine has. Black cherry, licorice, violet, moss, earth, rhubarb, talcum, dried meat. Palate has great impact. Finish is substantial and carries a lot of momentum. Sweet spices and heady notes on the back palate. 52 y/o vines.

Really one of my fav villages. This is charming. Cherry fruit, slightly dusty tannins, perky acidity that makes you want to keep drinking it. Yes please.

Dark for a santenay, with nice concentration for the price. Good floral aspect.

2023/6/21. Open, lean, a bit taut - autumnal with forest floor, red berry, spice (green cardamom?) and a touch of wood. A nice balance of acid and fruit considering the appellation. Not as rich or moreish as the 2015 Chassagnes, but the price for a wine with some classical maturity makes it pretty interesting.
