Checking in on the 16 since the 17 showed so well. This has everything there, fresh layered fruit, texture & structure. This will be better on the second night, but it was hard to put down last night. Great stuff.

Concentrated yet subtle fruit: black currant, black olive, raspberry. Pretty nose: bruised rose petals, wet earth. Dense and velvety at the same time keen, balanced and refined. Showing what old Grenache vines can do 👌🏻 Would expect no less from a partnership between the Bruniers & Kermit Lynch. Enjoyed at the very spot where they plotted the purchase of the domaine. Would love to revisit 5-10 years. Sensational.
