Bruichladdich
The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley Unpeated Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Much better than the “heavily plated” one which seemed too contrived to me.

Jul 1st, 2021Very unlike any other Islay whisky, except perhaps Bunnahaben. Light and easy in the mouth with a surprising rise of a gentle malted tang as it rests on the tongue. The finish dies away more rapidly that the more typical Isaly malts. Perhaps a good introductory experience for the newer whisky drinker.

Refreshing and enjoyable to bourbon and other whiskey drinkers. Does well with an ice ball or a drop of water to minimize heat.
