This needed a long decant for the alcohol to settle down, eventually fresh, silky, and smooth cherry, raspberry, vanilla, and underbrush.

It is...a glass of cherry liqueur? Typical of a well-made ‘14 Willamette Pinot, this has kirsch-y red fruit for days and the acid to make it not cloying. Good but not complex. I’m not sure how it will hold up over time, but I imagine some interesting secondary notes emerge after the fruit quiets down.
