At the Downs Club December Committee meeting - the theme being Magnums, however this wine was from 6 Litres, known as an Imperial or a Methuselah. This shows it’s cooler Eden Valley origins with stemmy herbal notes. Still full bodied with fleshy black fruits and supple tannins with a timeless character. Feels like it could live forever in this Imperial.

Wonderful, exactly what I expect...big, jammy, blue and blackberry, medium acid, medium tannins, menthol, big boozy. Oak tames it nicely. A really nice wine. Very cool family history of the winery.

Thia is spectacular. Deeply endless blue fruit and a mealy savoury nose. Pure full bodied fruit , with tannin and spice nextz fig jam but not jammy. Vvg
