Lingering tart, acidic finish, with notes of raspberry gummy chews and tart ripe red berry notes. Easy drinking and refreshing for a dark rose.

Interesting varietal. From what I’ve read, most producers use it for blends and it’s very rare as a single varietal wine especially in California. This wine is so light in color it could be mistaken for rose. A little funk on the nose gives way to green strawberry and praline. The palate is really interesting. Somehow, watermelon jolly rancher meets Campari in a way that is super light and quaffable. I am currently guzzling with no apologies!
