Great texture to this. Savory but balanced.

Round two with this wine was much more satisfactory. Balanced and fresh.

Always a bummer when the bottle you brought in to drink during service is corked.

Tannic! But great aromatics like orange blossoms make this a real winner.

This is the Broc Cellars 2011 El Dorado Vineyard Rousane orange wine. It is delightful and paired well with our traditional cold salads, late summer dinner. Soft and floral with herbal and earthy notes. Balance is fantastic and finish is medium-to-long.

I'm really liking this orange-amber colored wine. Nose is lovely with lots of sweet spice, honeysuckle, talky minerality, and sweet orange candy. Body is medium to full with a creamy texture from the silky tannins. Lots of ripe peach and a bit of white pepper stand out. Acidity is soft and the finish is medium to long. This wine is exotic and nice. I'm glad I have two more bottles to see what this will do over the next few years.
