I like the 2010 better than 2012. There’s an interesting game quality to it. A ton of flowers on the nose. Palate with olives, peppercorns, game, bouquet garni, really nice finish with some dark fruits and acidity. Fascinating to try the 2010 and 2012 next to each other. This one benefited even more from air.

Dec 19th, 2021I like to see this evolution of broc. This is big alcohol but you clearly see the beginnings of more current style. I get olive tapenade, white pepper, raspberry, a bit of jam, there are some purple flowers and almost lavender there’s also a blood sausage component, but it has a nice acid balance. Definitely needed decanting for a couple hours.

Michelle really liked it. Heavier, new oak?, but great acidity balance and finished light. Really nice.
