Mendocino Nero d'Avola

Not a honey badger. It's a Broc badger. Nero d'avola - Cali style. Opens up into deep spicy goodness. I drank (almost) the whole bottle.

Broc has been doing Nero D’Avola since 2013, releasing in the Fall. Another great delivery. Black cherry, pepper, a little licorice and herbs. Love it! With leftover ropa vieja and orzo.

A great wine, tons of fruit but light bodied. Opened up nice over 2 days. Belle loves it.

Smells pungently of anise and black pepper. Tastes like tart plum and smoke. Interesting!
