Fire Island Pines, 2018 kick off. Yes. Fresh, bright, confident, flirty, with a depth that catches you off guard. #FI2018

Nose of cherries, leather, a bit of spice, honestly seems more like merlot on the nose. The palate is clearly Vladimir with a ton of acidity, bright fruits, cherries, plums, currant, but an underlying herbal quality that is wonderful.

Jun 25th, 2020This wine continues to get better. So much fruit and stone and flavor. It’s unfair to other wines.

Apr 25th, 2018Fatter than the 12% would suggest and I feel like I taste a lot of oak. Granted I pretty much despise any new oak at all, but this grape is so cool and so much is going on underneath that vanilla sweater.
