A lovely go-to wine for a fresh and sippable red. Elegant and forward nose of violet, dry rose, blueberry, red cherry, and blackberry, carrying through to a medium body with structured and vibrant raspberry, blackberry, rosemary, pepper, and some savory aspects in the palate. Fine tannins and a lingering finish

Blaufränkisch/Zweigelt blend, under screwcap and great value. Medium purple colour and so much interest on the pronounced nose - spice, meat, truffle, and a heap of ripe blue and black berry fruit on the nose. Medium bodied, silky and supple on the palate, lots of bright, crunchy fruit and a fair bit of undergrowth complexity. Medium length with pepper spice chiming in, utterly silky and gluggable with fine powdery tannin and a stream of fine acidity.

Pleasant, but the acid was a bit skewed at the finish.
