One bottle for the beef, minus a few sips for the cook.

Bright red fruit. Good acidity. A very basic #barbera - still, a decent #quaffer

Dry, typical Italian wine. Somewhat complex as it changes in taste but reverted back to where it started as very dry and more alcohol forward than expected. Midway through drinking it became lighter with subtle cherry and vanilla notes before finishing with a more alcohol and dry taste. Had with sausage pizza which at times it went well with and others not so much. Nice on its own.

For Dan and me before his last week of teaching full-time. Light, not tannic, just a bit heavier than beaujolais. Very nice.
