One of the better domestic pinots I've had in a while. Cherry cola on the nose. Good balance. Almost don't notice the 15.4%(!)

Overblown IMO. Loads of fruit that I would not associate with Pinot Noir. Still an interesting drink.

Composite cork and 15.4% alcohol. Doesn’t show the alcohol level at all with still a good amount of fruit. Nicely balanced.

2004. Decanted for about an hour and it really opened up and softened. Absolutely beautiful. Viscosity was nice. Not too light, not too heavy.
The fruit is soft and lingering. I'm sorry I only had the one bottle.

Drank 11/29/15 with a full turkey dinner. A wonderful California pinot, always reliable.

A classic example of the great wines made by Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton, this wine is drinking beautifully. A hypothetical hybrid between a central coast pinot and a Grand Cru burgundy, this wine exhibits a nose of sour cherries, strawberries, with an undercurrant of spice and earth. Seamless finish. An absolute pleasure to drink.

Great taste with steak. Has a peppery start and smooths out at the end. Must open 30 min before drinking.
