A gift from a well meaning friend so why not do a tasting note. Nose is jammy like zinfandel. Not offensively overripe but also not shy. Not awful. Palate is grotesquely sweet and so hot. Ugh.

Very good cab. Black fruit, vanilla & coffee, pleasant acidity, but short finish.
