Very solid chianti, classical. Not the Great one, but perfect companion.

Great p/q. 2016 clearly a standout year in Chianti. This is brilliant ruby, with a pure sangiovese nose - leather, red and black fruit, spice, and forest floor. Med bodied, clean strawberry and red cherry with silky mouthfeel. Then a solid lick of superfine tannin bring grip and length.
