Great in its category! Slight fizz, brambly sour cherry, lots of florals, bright acidity, just a touch of tannins, lots minerality. Needs to be cold.

earlier vintages were always better - not feeling the 2019 as much. a little sweeter and less inky than earlier vintages?

My wife rates this higher. I'm just not that into it.

Anticipating a mature wine for this evening...I was quite surprised by the Fizzante which brought a champagne bubble into a medium bodied, rich colored wine. The bubbles at the surface were of the richest purple colors Ive ever seen. Clean, fun, fruity and tasty! Loved it!
