Nice Bourgogne. Easy going wine. Cherry, mushroom, earth, dried fruits and nice acid. A little muted. Needs food.

Great for the price. Violets, cherry, mushroom, sagebrush, crushed rocks, great acid. Drinking above it’s classification.

My red 'cooking' wine; +7 hrs into a venison shank (osso buco) braise. Added 1.5 bottles, so the rest can't go to waste, or can it?

Nose of bright cranberry and under-ripe cherry.

Palate has cherry/cranberry juice, lightly astringent, short finish.

Founded in 1731, Maison Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest wine merchant houses. Deep red with a nose of ripe red fruits. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors, current like, with nice balance and light touch of spice. Integrated smooth tannins carry to medium finish ending with some mineral tones. Nice value from France.

Pretty nose of flowers and red fruit. Light dried tart cherry on the palate. Clean and simple. Exactly what it's supposed to be

Dried tart cherries, good acids, but just not enough fruit character for me. Good not great. Decent price.
