Founded in 1731, Maison Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest wine merchant houses. Pale lemon with pronounced aromas of stone fruits with floral notes, very complex. On the palate apple and citrus flavors with honey, oak and spice, lively acidity, well balanced, long finish ending with fruit and mineral tones. Nice! Drinking well now!

Oct 31st, 2020Good weight and depth of mouthfeel. Good balance all round except despite being decanted the wine seemed to be in a dumb period and wasn’t expressing that much flavour and complexity at all.
