Anna "Long". Makes me want to go back to Beaune right now.

Delightful. A little funk, blows off quickly. Nice mouthfeel and length. Just what the doctor ordered tonight!

Short on the finish

Deep velvet ruby, almost opaque. Nose is round and full of red and black fruit. Very opulent and round for a burgundy. Lovely plummy flavour profile but lacks acidity and freshness and lacks length as a result. Picked too late?

Merry Christmas! Perfectly aged.

Fine spice, vanilla, pepper; red fruits, strawberries, red cherry, with a hint of apple cider; smoke and leather; tannins are firm still. Could cellar for many more years.

I liked this better than the l'Enfant Jesus, but still hard to read through the sulfur.

Nice mix of elegant and rustic. Some fruity sweetness, with interesting smoky and earthy notes.
