A very pleasant surprise for a purchase from Trader Joe's

Prem loved this Pinot

Black cherries, spices, a touch of minerals. Light body and clean. A nice proper pinot with hints of oak.

Solid

Excellent - very smooth and nice finish. Pairing very nicely with Italian dinner!

Needs 1-2 hours to breathe. Decent, oaky, could be a little drier & use some more tannins. Overall a good wine, but not much character other than oak. Probably worth a try.

With lamb shanks.
