Enjoyed this in March 2016. Brought this bottle back with us from our visit to Alsace in the fall of 2015. I'm just blown away by these beautiful, dry, white wines of this region. The fruit and earth are in such a delicate dance. I long for another opportunity to enjoy the gift this region gives us.

Soft and unctuous. Mostly toasty and nutty up front but then with the hints of Riesling pineapple at the end. Quite interesting, but perhaps getting towards the end of life.

The style is right up my alley - relatively full-bodied and mostly dry, with a bit of an acidic bite, balanced by a touch of rs. Delicious, but a bit simple and not as complex as I expected.
