I love Bott&Geyl and will love it forever especially after my visit to their vineyards last summer, but this bottle turned out quite inexpressive and mellow. I love my Rieslings razor sharp and precise like a lazer. This is not one of those, unfortunately. Their Crus are magestic though.

N: Gun flint, honeysuckle, white flower, lots of green apple
P: less of everything above + lime and lime pith. Oily with prickly finish.

Blind. Riesling, but light. No intensity. Dry. Relatively low acid. Some botrytis character. Went through malo I think... I couldn't tell where it was from. Not bad, but simple and easy.

These these winds blow me away. given their fat and voluptuous nature in youth, I always assumed that they won't age well. And I'm always wrong.

Just falls short of excellency. Great mouthfeel. Not too acidic for a riesling, medium fruitiness and balanced intensity.
