Chante Le Merle Vieilles Vignes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache - Mourvedre Blend

A real beauty. More approachable than the 2010.

A powerful yet elegant CdP. Rounded and not heavy. Drinking well already.

This should be one of the better cuvees from Bosquet des Papes but it disappoints. The bottle seems to be in a difficult phase - not great at this moment in time.

Full bodied and potent. Great fruit and acid.

strong tannins, great flavor

Liquified licorice candy. Hefty stuff, alive with acid and tannin balancing out the sweet dark fruit.

Tannins are grippy. Hold for 5+ years.

Fantastic CdP.
