Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Took a couple of nights for the fruit to lift off. It was lovely once it did.

Great Chianti Classico. Good cherry flavors, orange peel, nice acid, and good tannin. Solid stuff.

Got the job done- basis for meat sauce and for dinner. Fruity and fresh.

Classic Chianti Classico. Bright ruby red. Candied cherry and leather on the nose. Tart cherry and leather on the palate. Medium plus acidity. Great with food. No surprises here; just a good, solid CC.

More earth than fruit, unfortunately not so much acid

Light bodied, gamey, and jammy! Wonderful for this price.

Almond, cherry, dried rose petals, leather... This is nice. There is a barnyard funk think too, which goes away after a while. The palate is very well done with a good acid drive, some nice cherry notes all along, a vivid mouthfeel, some drying tannins in the rear, some savoury touches blossom in the finish along with bright cherry notes and that dried layer. It's a very good effort, one of the best classico I have tasted recently, quite easy going.
