Borgo Paglianetto

This wine completely missed the mark for us. It felt extremely unbalanced and the tart green apple was overwhelming on the palette.

Pale yellow. Great acidity in this lively wine. Green Apple, almond, a bit of citrus and what seems like oregano. Very enjoyable wine- lots of flavors to think about. Opened it for dinner, but it may not survive the cooking phase.

Floral, stonefruits, shows just a tad of spritz, this is a real crusher and very, very enjoyable!!

Very pale yellow hue. Bit shy nose with apple, lemon, faint wiff of herbs and underlying mineral vein. On the palate wine has nice combination of acidity and fruit with green apples, grape fruit and blood orange complemented with very slight herbal/grassy tone. On it's own this is rather straight forward and well made wine but with food this really starts to shine. We had this with vegetable ragu and it complemented nicely the dish adding dimensions to the food. This would be excellent by the glass wine for a restaurants. Excellent qpr, bio wine and only 12.5%
