Collio Sauvignon

Lean and mean. Too cold at first, right out of the refrigerator. Melons emerge. Grippy.

The most unique Sauvignon Blanc I've had so far. Distinct cream from Malo, raw green pepper, key lime, melon, and hints of white balsamic. Subdued acidity because of oak usage and Malo. All well integrated and beautifully balanced.

Soft, mineral driven SB. Kaffir lime, lemon curd.

Borgo del Tiglio- yum!

2011 vintage—still showing beautifully. Just a slight oxidative bit but impressive how fresh it still is! Roast Chicken enjoy it too;)

Melon, pear, white pepper and honey. Nice acid on the finish. Delicious.

So much going on, so hard to explain, just shut up and drink it, you know you like it.

Seems to hold back. Some hints of kiwi, melon and pear. Mineral, crisp and lean mouthfeel. No apparent flaws, just slightly forgettable....
Usually this producer doesn't fail to impress. Ah well.
