Very good. Bacon, olive and cedar nose. Soft black fruits. Velvet mocha and black pepper finish.

Primarily a Blend of Syrah (78%)and Petite Syrah (21%) with token amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel blended in. Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Nice aromas of blueberry, lavender and smoked meat. Bramble berry fruit leads the palate along with touches of black pepper, dark chocolate and smoky oak. Luxurious and velvety finish. Full bodied, generous, bold and luscious. Part of Capital Grille’s 2024 Generous Pour Program.

Wine has a very deep purple appearance. The aromas are medium intensity of black cherry, black pepper, and cedar. Wine is full bodied, with medium alcohol, dry, medium acidity. Medium flavors of black cherry, pepper, mocha. tannins are medium a gummy texture. Wine is balanced, a well medium to long finish, complex to a point, but could use more of a story. Overall a very good almost outstanding wine.
