Bacchus was clearly looking after me, this bottle showed beautifully.
Lovely aromas of lemon, flowers and the slightest bit of smoke . In the mouth pure silk as mineral notes, honey and tropical fruits blow up in your mouth .
A fresh and long finish. This bottle was defying its age.Thanks
@Richard Lin .

From mag. Beautiful poise. Soft lemony fruit, seasshells, slate. This has a wonderfully oily citrus poise in that midpalate with a great salinity and balance. Very good. Years ahead.

Sweet fruit on the nose with oyster shells. Real character and depth. Surprisingly sweet and interesting.

Tremendous precision, balance and structure, lemon pie, crisp apples, minerals, hints of smoke. The finish is long and concentrated.

Totally muted. Might be off bottle. Good acidity and mouthfeel though.

Deep yellow gold, heavy in the glass. Great leesy old white burg nose. . Notes of sweet lemon, apricot cardamom spice, more lemon peel and some river stone. Rich in the mouth. Tons of structure and acidity. Needed 5 hrs of air to really come on.

Pure, light and crystalline on the nose. Very fresh and delineated it’s lime, zest, slate. A beautifully balanced palate, distinguished and long. Primary still with a lot of aging ahead but this is drinking really well now

Tasted blind as mentioned earlier. This was the 5th GC White Burgundy in the lineup. Again showing the warmer vintage with the ripe fruit and extraction matching the Liberal Oak used. Bonneau du Martray always a favourite over the years.
