Beautiful soft tannins, aromas of leather and sweet cigar tobacco. Lovely barrel notes and full mouth feel with mid palate dried and bake fruit. Terroir to a “T”

Young and tight, yet still reveals why it will one day be great. Amazing concentration. Dark fruits, earth notes and chocolates.

Bright, dark ruby-red. Very suave scents of dark berries, black cherry, spices and licorice. There's a lovely density and silkiness of texture here but also surprisingly powerful, penetrating acidity and a firm tannic spine. This wine seemed rather delicate in the early going but today its very long, mounting finish conveys an impression of power, with its tongue-staining tannins coming across as a bit grittier than those of the supernal 2010 and thus giving the wine a spikier impression of structure. This very young wine should be long-lived. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, July 2019)

@Benjamin Keator had his hosting at the CC tonight and it was absolutely incredible. What a night of gorgeous wines! All wines are guessed blind.

5 reds tonight. 5 Bonds. Insane. I’m not going to try and evaluate each one as if they were crazy different because honestly, I found it fairly easy to determine all were from the same producer. That being said, I guessed all 5 reds were from the same producer and waffled between a horizontal or vertical...I ultimately chose vertical (which was wrong). I guessed all were Napa cabs. To me, this tastes the oldest, so I guessed this was an ‘09 (beginning of a 5 yr vertical). Lots of dusty red and black fruit. This was the most mellow.

Much more dark red and black fruits than other examples. Slightly “fatter” on the pallette as well with chocolate undertones. Suspect many would love this style.

Not something to have after a flight of Nebbiolos. Over the top extraction, muscular and powerful. Dusty black fruit and firm chewy tannins.

Solid bottle of California Cab. Absolutely not worth the price of admission.

Keeping warm on a "chilly" Vegas evening. Not as polished as Pluribus but still happy to toast with it!
