St. Eden Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2001

1 hour decant (decent fine/cloudy sediment). A splended dark magenta color with just a touch of bricking...still looks young at 21 years!. On the nose: dark cherry, French vanilla, eucalyptus, anise, little smoked brisket. Taste: smooth, rich, mouthcoating wine with dark chocolate covered cherries, earth, vanilla mocha, graphite, and a peppery tar finish. YUM! 1st vintage for the St. Eden. — a month ago

Vecina Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2001

45+ minute decant and could have used a little more. Deep red color with maroon edges. Still youthful. Very big, deep wine. Very complex wine from nose to finish. Has that discernible Napa sweetness. Nose has bramble and cherries. Palate contains earth, subtle herbs, licorice, and plenty of fruit. Insane texture! Finish has Amarone and Port elements with spice, cinnamon and decent alcohol. Seems to have characteristics from every region of the world which is super cool. Very good, but not sure it’s worth current market prices. — a month ago

Nice! Got a bottle I was planning to pop next weekend. Worth the price back then, but not now...Got off their list back in 2013

11 Year Old Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whiskey 1970

Actually the 13 year bottled in bond. Outstanding value and flavor. So smooth, charcoal, molasses, cherries, tea, maple syrup/wood, just an all around great pour. — 4 months ago

Matriarch Napa Valley Red Bordeaux Blend 2011

Simply awesome! 1+hr decant and needed a lot more as the best glass was the last. Great nose of a classic Bordeaux. Wine was restrained at first but then showed integrated elements of cherries, cedar, and licorice. Bigger tannins than I was expecting. Insane texture and big depth. Loved it!! — 4 months ago

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Was fortunate enough to meet winemaker at Mustards Grill a month ago and she let me try this wine - same vintage I think. And now this has become one of my favorite wines under $60. If you can find it, buy it. Serve it to your friends who expect you to serve them Realm, Patria or Bond, etc. — 2 years ago
