I have always enjoyed Phantom wines! Reviews are pretty decent for this 2017..plenty of peach, pear, apple, caramel and butterscotch. Nice complexity lending to a creaminess yet is light as a feather at the same time! Costco buy less than $15. Nice QPR!

This was kind of a bland tasting Chardonnay in my opinion. It had some flavor, but you couldn’t taste too much of the fruit in the wine. It seems to be overpowered by the aftertaste and I couldn’t make it through the whole bottle.

Wow. This is surprisingly awesome. Or not surprising given its Phantom. A much different style than last year. A lot more depth. Will need to do a little digging to see if different technique or different winemaker. Admittedly I don’t know. Anyway, this is a full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine. Shows flavors of pear, toasty oak, and butterscotch. The finish is creamy but short-lived. You’d never know this was $15. I think it would surprise some people in a blind. Stock up.
