Lurid ruby-red. Ripe, oak-spiced cherry and dark berry aromas take on hints of smokiness and cola with air. In an ample style, in line with the vintage, offering lush blackberry, bitter cherry flavors and sweetening mocha and vanilla notes. Rounded tannins frame a persistent finish that leaves jammy berry and oak spice notes behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, October 2020)

Oct 30th, 2020Love this Pinot, and great value. Ripe red cherry and…blackberry? Great finish. 2019 is delicious. I’m excited to try against the 2021 vintage. Will definitely buy again.

Jan 27th, 2023If you are looking for something without a strong spicy flavor this should be your go to. Mild flavored and not dry just like your Saturday night pinot noir should be.
100% recommend for those not familiar with the flavor range of pinot.

Feb 3rd, 2019The bottles just kept coming, and so did I. Chuck Wagner's creation a la Belle Glos. I wouldn't fault you for calling this a more full bodied grape variety in a blind tasting, as it's also a well-extracted, dank Pinot with some oompf to it. When the setting and mood call for a bombastic Pinot with no wrongs, this one fits the bill of rights.
