Very modern, new world Cabernet like, reminded me of Napa.

Ridiculously good wine. Balanced and structured. One of the best wines I've had in ages.

Drinking so well right now! Classic South African terroir comes through in the aromatics and finish. Currants, spiced cherry, beef jerky, savory herb, campfire embers, this walks a tight line of balance and power!

Really nice wine, great fruit, tastes a little more like aged Syrah than Cab. Beautiful at this age though.

Outstanding cab. Still some fruit and a good amount of tannins.

Excellent classic South African Cab. Earthy, mushroom, currant with a lengthy, savory finish.

Big nose with sweet notes of blackcurrant, cedar and spices. Medium body, rich fruit, young tannins, fresh acidity and long finnish. Will develop with some years.

I feel weird about how much I liked this, but I did! I believe it was paired with pheasant

Much as I would expect from a SA Cabernet Sauvignon. Understated and elegant.

It's funny. I have wine stereotypes for some of the DL crew. To me, this is much more
@David T and much less @Paul T or @Martin G Rivard
