Ridiculously good wine. Balanced and structured. One of the best wines I've had in ages.

Pretty deep ruby , bricking garnet rim . Aromatic. Deep dark blackcurrant, slightly dusty, earthy , tobacco, touch of leather. Ripe blackberry , blackcurrant, more fruit on the palate than the nose, touch of dried herbs Nice acidity , touch of grafite , slightly gritty tannins . Good length. Excellent now , though will still age well and possibly improve over the next 5 years , lasting another 5 or so.

You could be forgiven to think this was a Bordeaux blend style wine and not the familiar style Cabernet Sauvignon one would associate with South Africa. It has at least 10 years more in aging. Soft and gentle tones with light tobacco flavours, smooth and silky, the red fruit still has a hint of green and the wood Is not prominent yet. Surprisingly easy drinking and can be enjoyed with or without food

Mulberry, cherry and chocalty.. Slight bitter finish resembles burgundian. Juicy and sour bitter. Grippy tannin. Abit of mineral and stony character

Really nice wine, great fruit, tastes a little more like aged Syrah than Cab. Beautiful at this age though.

Fully enjoyed this South African wine with great company. Fruit forward wine with great tannins and slightly dry in the finish on the tongue. Haven't had this great of a South African wine in a while. Buy a bottle!
