60% Syrah / 40% Tempranillo; fantastic with air, the meaty side of the Syrah especially comes through in the nose, along with flowers, minerality and spice. An intense, complex, but balanced palate of blue and black fruits, spice, roasted meat and tobacco glide to the firm and ripe tannins, with a brooding and intense finish.

Blend of Tempranillo (60%) and Syrah (40%). Dark ruby/purple/black color. Aromas of ripe blue and black fruit, tobacco, dried herbs and wet soil. Flavors of tobacco, blackberries, blueberries, black licorice and dark chocolate. Nice hint of oak on the long and lingering finish. Abundant acidity, medium alcohol and bone dry. Rustic, savory and powerful. Best with a decant and on the second day.
