What’s not to love about high elevation, old vine garnacha! Dark purple with an opaque rim. The nose was bright and brimming with minerals, earth and Asian spices. Tons of fruit runs from tip to stern; dominated by black cherry lavender and brambley spices. Great depth and grip!

Light red wine that comes softly on the pallet - slightly on the acidic side with sweet after notes.

2008 vintage drank 11/15. Dry on the palate with a rough edge. Hints of fruit suffocated by tannins.

Bright purple and giving off a nose of Asian spices, lavender, and black cherries. Medium bodied with solid grip and structure; the fruit while starting to fade still managed to shine. The finish was soft with a hint of leather.

Grenache based Red. Light garnet color. Intense aromas of tar, asphalt, rubber, and dark cherry. Pallet is still reasonably fresh with notes of cooked dark cherry, plum tobacco, roasted nuts and herbs. Hints of watermelon on the long and Smokey finish. Oak has integrated very nicely. Acidity is well balanced. This is an example of a wine that has improved with age. Thank You for sharing Keith S!

I was looking for essence of tannin to go with the leg of lamb on Boxing Day, and found it in this righteous elixir. No pussyfooting around here--it's the real stuff. Shot through with coarse-ground black pepper; sturdy as a faithful hiking boot.

Slightly acidic with a cherry overtone. Light on the palate with a clean flavor, but not as robust as I had hoped for a Spanish wine.

What a great value wine! Starts off with big fruit but finished dry, spicy, and a bit like leather. Very impressed for a budget wine.
