Blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Mazuelo, aged for 18 months in American and French oak, deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with pepper spice. Medium finish, fine grippy tannins, ending with fruit and spice. Good value!

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Nice mouthfeel with a medium finish and firm tannins.

A good food wine. Will be better in a year or two.

Cola, spice, black currant. Great buy. Even the resident Rioja hater thought it was "pretty good."

Big oak, lots of dark fruits. Vanilla, cedar box, dried tobacco, and just a hint of coconut. Lots of aggressive tannins.

Earthier, easy drinking but a little bitter. Moderate cleansing tannins.

Heavy on the tannins. Dense dark fruit on the palate with a funky muskiness.
