Jan 15th, 2017On the nose: hello, I’m drunk.
In the mouth: currants, blackberries, dirt, licorice, waxy, punch-in-the-face mouthfeel (makes sense with a 91 from Parker).
Conclusion: not sure Monastrell is my grape of choice.

Friendly, Robust & Good Value!
Roses on front end adding red currant with hint of tarragon...not thick in mouth or pour but has pleasant finish. This was experienced when eating fatty meat its slightly balsamic offering that works well with the Prime Rib melding flavours. Definitely sparked my interest for Case purchasing. Need to do a retry with some serving temp variations & some breathing time.

Красные фрукты, жареные шампиньоны, табак, дуб, чернослив, нотка аниса и зелёного перца, полно, немного алкогольно, бархатные танины, долгое послевкусие.

Jun 25th, 2017Licorice and chocolate notes, decent acidity and a velvety soft finish. Pairs well with grilled meat.
