Strawberry candy and caramel aromas. Black cherry followed by leather. The tannins are wonderfully tempered resulting in a very smooth red. This was excellent alone and later paired well with steak.

Had this while in Gold Coast, Australia at a tapas restaurant. Just the right amount of boldness but not over the top! Not super dry but great flavoring to pair with meat, cheese and lamb.

Good Rioja flavor, a bit heavy on the mineral after taste. But perhaps that is a flaw of my taste buds tonight.

Sitting pretty good at 10 years old. Too oaky for my liking, but suits the style. Didn't help that the fruit was dropping off.
