Lovely golden sparkle to this amazing Sherry, from Bodegas Tradición. Aromas of buttery caramel, toffee, and pecans, with a hint of something fruity and sweet, like orange marmalade. Super smooth body/mouthfeel with ripe acidity. An incredibly long length that takes you through many stages of flavor, like the ever-changing bubblegum in Willie Wonka. From Candied oranges to pecan pie, to buttered toast and finally bitter almond. But you don’t turn into a blueberry at the end, like in the movie, or at least I didn’t!

N: Nuts, Caramel, iodine, wooden boats,
olives.
P: Buttery rich, mineral, very mineral, yeasty, very smooth. Almost medicinal in the way Laphroaig scotch is.

N:Caramel, Buttered popcorn, wood, rancio, yeast, bread, big white flowers,
P: You might think with all that the palate would be heavy, but noooo. It’s fresh and crisp. Some dried orange peel, almonds, a foreign bay leaf kind of flavor,
So many elements it’s mystifying, like twisted rainwater. The ocean is ever present. On a 94° day, hits the many spots.
