Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Complex nose with lots of fruits, and dry and fruit forward on the palate.

Showing blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, herbs, chocolates and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a beautiful red blend from Rioja. Showing nice complexity and a soft mouth feel. Elegant and rich.

Drinking very nicely now, although still young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

A good sipping wine, and good by itself or with food.

I liked the Roda 2019 a bit better, but both were very delicious.

A blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

$65.

This was part of a vertical tasting. Our favorite of the three years. Deep cherry, dark chocolate, prune, stinky nose.

Complex, well structured showing the finesse of the 2010. Plums, liquorice, coffebeans, balsamic notes. Great acidity and length, and amazingly silky tannins.
