Yup, that one of the better wines last night. It was all about cooking, but at least some oke wines.

Dark and dry and dusty with nice spice.

Full bodied and dry. Not bad. Not great. Decent for the price but would explore other alternatives.

Full body.

Nothing but flat oak in the nose, but in the mouth it's a juicy feast of plum and cherry with black peppery spices. Love the long, pleasant finish!

A very average tasting, inexpensive Spanish Monastrell wine.

Very even tone. Medium palette. Great with tapas. Brought out spice with the food. Server said temp blend. But I think he grabbed the wrong bottle. Which confused my palette at first. Then I saw the bottle. Made more sense.
