One of my favorite wines ever. Classic as hell, stewed red fruit, dill, cedar, cigar box and crazy acid. Just so good and in perfect shape. The cork was on its last day, but the wine still has years.

Shockingly young. Still lots of black cherry, along with leather and soy. Beautifully balanced, oak integrated into the fully resolved structure. Maybe it doesn't plumb the depths of the most classic producers, but who's complaining?

It was hit or miss with something this old, but it's really nice. Some aspects of a Sherry. Very smooth, but complex. No more available, unfortunately.
