Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe fruit, smoke and fragrant spice notes. A blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 7% Mazuelo, and 3% Graciano from this top Haro producer. On the palate, cherry, raspberry and blackberry, with firm dry tannins, and smoky oak. The wine spent about 30 months in French and American oak, then 18 months in the bottle before release. On the finish a touch of vanilla spice and minerality with a lingering ending. Will continue to improve! Very Nice!

Reminds me that I could always use more Rioja in my life. Nom nom nom!! Wintergreen tobacco, boysenberry, black cherry, dried herbs de Provence, sopprasetta, summer sausage, violets.

Big, furry and a fist full of acid. Open but don't drink the first day. Put the cork back and wait a day or two. Calms down and is much more enjoyable. Would like to try in 15 years

Slight aroma of band-aid #brett and soil on the nose, beautiful ruby red color, robust tannin levels impart mouth griping astringency, mild heat, dried violets and orange rind flavors, slightly bitter finish.

Love this 2010 Muga Rioja. Oak, lots of body and medium tannins. Opened up nicely!
