Rias Baxias region of northwest Spain 🇪🇸The Galician climate receives moisture from the Atlantic 🌊 and is mostly sticky, warm and rainy with rain ☔️ most days during the year. The humid, salt air is what this viticultural environment is all about. The mostly white wines made here are highly acidic, with notes of tart, green apple 🍏 and white flowers. Most wines are aged in stainless steel and some see new, French oak but only for a few months. Then they are aged in the bottle. You can cellar them for up to 5-6 years.

Had this with a seafood dinner. Matched really well. Acid complimented the octopus and hake.

A nice refreshing white. Opened up with minerals, apple, pear and Crenshaw melon.

Light with mineral flavors. Great pairing with a rich and fatty piece of pork.

Great white Rioja. Little more crisp acidity than normal but nice balance.

A bit of acid. A bit of bark. A bit of fruit.

A lot of orata.

Golden color with a bit green. A bit grassy aroma, but taste doesn't include rough taste much. Acidity is not so strong, smooth, like SV at first. But later on aroma changes a lot. Citrus flavor, into sharp. Minerally. Taste of this wine is really depending on serving temperature. @448, vinos - moto, 171226-180115
