Tried at 2011 vintage at the bodega which was very good and picked up a bottle of the 2004 after taking with the wine maker, Miguel Angel, about the excellent quality of the vintage. He did not lead us astray. Deep color and big flavors but smooth with medium tannins. Dark Plum and tomato flavors with cedar wood, leather a little bit of vanilla. Greatly enjoyed this wine as well as a few others that we had during our visit to the winery. On a side note, the caves under the mountain at this winery were unreal. Hundreds of years old and still used today as the location to age the riserva’s and gran riserva’s
