Extremely smooth. Went down so easily. Paired lovely with a sausage rigatoni. Balanced cherry and mixed berry tannins, slight vanilla on the finish. Amazing!! Suggest to let it decant to bring out the flavours

I've had this a few times before, and I'm always surprised how such a big producer can make such a pleasing, earthy wine. Licorice, nutmeg, and tobacco flavors. Mid-palate is on the soft side, but the sour finish keeps you drinking.
